What is ibakepro?

ibakepro is bakery management software for bakeries that make to order: home bakers, cake decorators, market bakers and small commercial bakeries. It covers recipe and product costing, orders and quotes, ingredient inventory, deposits and payments, an online storefront, wholesale ordering, deliveries, food safety records and marketing, from 17 to 59 US dollars a month depending on plan.

One account holds the whole chain, from the price you paid a supplier for a sack of flour through to what a finished order made.

What it is used for

  • Knowing what a product costs to make. A pantry item carries the price you paid, units convert on the way into a recipe, and a supplier price change rewrites every cost that depends on it. See recipe costing.
  • Building the catalogue. Products are built from components, components from pantry items, and a bigger size is scaled by volume against anchors you measured. See the product builder.
  • Running orders. A quote and an order are the same record, so converting one carries the event date, the stock and the status straight through. See orders and quotes.
  • Taking the money. Set a deposit rule once and ibakepro sizes it per order, tracks what is still owed and flags payments that have gone past their date. The customer pays from a private page for their order.
  • Holding stock. Ingredients and supplies are tracked as you hold them, with what is already committed to orders visible before it leaves the shelf. See pantry and stock.
  • Selling. A section-built website with a shop attached, limited-release drops, and a private ordering area where trade accounts sign in and see the prices attached to their own account. See the online storefront.

Alongside those sit allergen tracking that rolls up from ingredient to order line, food safety records you can print for an inspector, delivery runs and courier dispatch, email and SMS marketing, automations, expenses, accounting sync, tasks, analytics and calendar sync. Each part has its own page under features.

Your business sets its own currency, timezone, date format, unit system, metric or imperial throughout, and tax type with your own rate. Subscriptions are billed in US dollars, Australian dollars, pounds sterling, euros, Canadian dollars or New Zealand dollars. Card payments work anywhere Stripe operates, and customer notifications go by email everywhere, with SMS available in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
